Plein Air
Plein Air extreme with high winds hammering Jane Perry, Fred Saunders, and me as we set up on the side of the highway dodging Perdue eighteen wheeler's roaring by. This a plein air study of an old farm house perched on a small hill down a dirt path in the Elm Grove Community in Bertie County. Like many other beautiful structures in the area, this house has been mothballed for more contemporary housing by descendants of the original family responsible for its construction way back when.
