Today the setting sun was casting some warm light on Bunn's Barbeque's back cook house that still has rusty old signs on the outside walls from when it was a filling station a long time ago. I drove by late this afternoon and decided to try this as a quick light and value study. The old yellow sign that reads, "Say Pepsi Please" was blazing.

When I was blocking in, Lewis Hoggard wheeled in arguing with Bunn's owner Randy Russell on his cell about Roy Williams' refusal to call time outs. He took a quick look and drove off. Later on, Tim Phelps and Ben Castelow drove by with their wives as I was progressing. They took a quick look and drove off.  Finally, Warren Mizelle and  Allen Foy stopped by on their way to clean some speckle perch and rockfish they had caught earlier. Allen took a quick look at my almost finished piece and said, "that's a good rough draft."

Warren quickly interjected and said, "That's the way he paints Brotha'."
