Another hot but beautiful day on the Emory Farm just outside of Queenstown, Maryland. Farm owner, Jon Shaw, is a falconer and wildlife artist. Several of his great paintings hang in his studio / hunting cabin / falconry headquarters. Jon likes to hunt with his falcons on horseback preferring the Paso Fino breed, As we painted near his stables, he rode by many times to check out the work and comment the on the looseness compared to his very detailed realistic work.
