Last Friday we all piled in the car and drove down to Nags Head for the New Year holiday. What a beautiful weekend with temps in the mid 60's while cool crisp skies blanketed the Atlantic coastline as hundreds of sea birds and diving ducks worked the bait fish along the breakers. I didn't see anyone catch a rock, but this guy was determined to land something on his Saturday off - so determined that he ventured a little too far in the surf to cast his line as the shore break threw some less than 50 degree salt water down his waders.
