I was very lucky to get in Ken Auster's (www.kenauster.com) four week course that centered around cityscapes but focused on Ken's general theories and philosophy on how to approach and design any painting.

When it came time for a painting for Ken to review, all of the students submitted a "cityscape" - most of which were of Manhattan, Montgomery Street in San Francisco, The Loop in Chicago, etc. etc. I can honestly  say that this was the first critique by Ken Auster of the rail road crossing in Everetts, NC.
