Up from the beach for a lunch break and towels are hung on the porch railing - a scene all to common at Nags Head during the summer months.  Last weekend was no exception even with off and on cloudy weather. As it began to sprinkle, the neighbors went up and hung their towels out to dry. AfAter it quit raining, I quickly got my bag and set up behind the sand fences that were providing a perfect lead in to the red towel.

After about an hour, it began to rain again, but luckily I had most of it blocked in and moved to the front porch of the cottage on the left, where everyone was already having drinks. I finished most of it amid some spirited conversation.  When the rain stopped, I returned to the beach for the final touches.
