I can't count the times I've seen this in the afternoon driving back home from Indian Woods. This past summer some neighborhood friends and I commandeered a community Dyna Glide from a mutual friend who was willing to let us test drive it indefinitely in the hopes that one of us would get hooked and buy it. All three of us were hooked immediately, but no one has taken the plunge yet. This past Fall, this little patch of road was part of my routine for "test driving". I've written before that there is only one thing that can come close to being as much fun as painting in my opinion, and that might be catching a long left peeler on a longboard. That only lasts for a few seconds though where a painting session can go on all day. Now I would add one more activity that lasts much longer than a wave - taking a ride down a curvy country back road during a sunny crisp Fall day on a motorcycle with good music in the earphones. Couple that with stopping and getting off the bike to take some good pics to save for a cold winter day's painting in the basement studio, and all of a sudden surfing gets bumped back to number three.
