Another study of the Cashie River as it is seen from the landing at the foot of the Cashie River Bridge in Windsor, NC. Like my study titled " Creek Haven" , I took some artistic liberty here and transformed the pontoon boat into a sailboat to add more depth and simply make a better composition.
Recently the Town of Windsor and its commissioners have transformed this waterfront acreage into a beautiful park. During the early spring and later winter this is a standing room only point with fisherman hauling in Hickory Shad and throwing back heron on a spawning run upstream.
